We have an opening for the position of Manager/Chief Manager - Education and Training specializing in Accountancy and Business Studies.

Purpose

  • To offer domain expertise and training support to all teachers in consultancy SEL schools.
  • To continually develop, assess, and implement curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • To conduct research and produce intellectual property for owned schools and SEL consultancy ventures.
  • To ensure the seamless establishment of SEL schools from inception, manage project budgets, and uphold excellence standards.

Principal Accountability & Responsibilities

Role of a Primary Consultant

1. Administrative:

  • Provide on-site and off-site assistance for setting up K-12 schools, collaborating closely with the SEL team to create a 30-year feasibility plan.
  • Discuss project management agreements and service scope with the AC for effective school contract execution.
  • Ensure alignment of necessary school policies for SEL services with the design brief.
  • Offer infrastructure plans for the development of learning spaces.
  • Support in designing, planning, and reviewing infrastructural designs, adhering to SEL Infrastructure Policy.
  • Assist in customizing the curriculum to suit local requirements.
  • Screen and approve teaching faculty and facilitate Continuous Professional Development sessions.
  • Participate in developing yearly calendars for Training, Visits, and Meetings.
  • Review and develop policies, handbooks, and communication materials.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of school management systems and operational policies.
  • Coordinate with other SEL support functions for Marketing, HR, IT, Finance, and Administration assistance.
  • Empower school teams for the Annual Planning Cycle and guide them towards achieving projected student enrolment.
  • Ensure effective handover between Primary Consultants as needed.
  • Deliberate and establish control points for the upcoming year and review progress with the line manager.

2. School:

  • Assist schools in curriculum planning and development.
  • Support schools in creating lesson plans and identifying staffing needs.
  • Keep schools informed about updates related to the respective board or curriculum offered.
  • Ensure schools possess updated publications relevant to their curriculum offerings.
  • Provide insights into best practices at national and international levels.

3. Curriculum Development:

  • Analyze student results to aid teaching strategy planning.
  • Continuously develop curriculum materials like course outlines, handbooks, lesson plans, and more.
  • Guide schools in formulating academic and administrative policies.

4. Training and Development:

  • Contribute to new employee induction by explaining offered programs and operational norms.
  • Collaborate on designing the annual professional development calendar.
  • Lead professional development sessions and provide support for teacher inductions and workshops.
  • Create domain-specific training modules to enhance pedagogy at SEL Schools.

5. Self-Development:

  • Participate in office training programs.
  • Enhance existing skills to meet role demands.
  • Stay updated on the latest education trends and practices.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities.

Role of an Associate Consultant

1. Administrative:

  • Collaborate with the Primary Consultant across all areas.
  • Customize and implement school policies as per project requirements.
  • Manage SEL tasks as per the Annual Planning Cycle of the school.
  • Handle all communication and coordination with the school.
  • Maintain records of school communications, forms, and reports.
  • Update academic administrative documents regularly.
  • Work on program and curriculum development in alignment with schools.
  • Conduct monthly process reviews and document outcomes.
  • Plan and share annual visit schedules ahead of time.
  • Ensure timely documentation and monitor school-related tasks regularly.

2. School:

  • Facilitate access to necessary books, resources, and curriculum documents for schools.
  • Ensure schools stay informed about their offered curriculum and international educational developments.
  • Organize student exchange programs in collaboration with schools.
  • Provide subject expert support and coordinate auxiliary services for schools.
  • Enhance student and teacher learning experiences through engagement activities.
  • Conduct teaching sessions at schools to boost teacher skills and classroom interactions.

3. Curriculum Development

  • Analyze student results to plan teaching strategies.
  • Develop curriculum materials and ensure alignment with quality standards.
  • Support schools in crafting academic and administrative policies.
  • Oversee timelines for curriculum design stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaborative learning sessions to enhance teacher competency.

4. Training and Development

  • Assist in new employee inductions and collaborate on professional development calendars.
  • Conduct professional development sessions for teaching staff.
  • Identify training needs from observations and teacher interactions.
  • Support schools in organizing orientation programs and workshops.
  • Create domain-specific training modules to enhance pedagogy at SEL Schools.

5. Self-Development

  • Engage in office training programs.
  • Enhance skills to meet role requirements.
  • Stay updated on education trends and best practices.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities.

Job Function: School Operations

Age: Years

Experience: Over 10 years of teaching experience, especially in teaching Accountancy and Business Studies in senior classes. Travel may be required as part of the job.

Qualification: Masters, B.Ed. with specialization in Accountancy and Business Studies.

Preference: Candidates residing in or near Gurugram. Office located in Sector 50, Nirvana Country, Gurugram.
