Technical Support Engineer

Skills required:

  • Ability to work in siftbyshift schedule to support 24/7 environment;


 English
  • Intermediate or Upper Intermediate;
  • Understanding and work experience with DNS Servers, VPS, Terminal Services and Remote Desktops, Web Servers (IIS and Apache);
  • Change management and execution using a structured process, supporting via ticket system/Kanban board (Jira, Confluence);
  • Managing DB's on top level (MSSQL Server);
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolution of server/servicerelated issues (Windows Server/Centos7);
  • Alert configuration, monitoring, detecting, reporting using monitoring system (Zabbix, Grafana, Kibana);
  • Ability to quickly and effectively take action on incoming requests.

Would be preferred:

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or related area;
  • Experience in 24/7 technical support: Network Operations Center (NOC), Technical Operations Center (TOC), etc.;
  • Experience with Zabbix (or other monitoring system), JIRA, Confluence;
  • Ability to work with a large amount of information;
  • Good communication skills.

Essential functions:
Your role will involve working shifts (including weekends and holidays) as first level technical support for our 24/7 product:

  • monitor company servers and systems availability and productivity;
- troubleshoot incoming tickets and alerts, resolve or escalate issues;
- work closely with other teams to troubleshoot and analyze incidents;
- assist engineers to quickly resolve problems;
- provide operational information exchange between responsible teams.
