Responsibilities:
Partner with development teams to design data management and governance solutions.
Understand how overall application strategy and business needs cascade to the database level.

Design, configure, implement, and administer all databases in various environments (Development, QA, Production).Work on database performance optimization and query tuning.

Identify performance bottlenecks, slow queries, and optimize it.

Monitor server analytics (database memory, system resources, storage usage, available free space and consumption trends and provide notifications when identified thresholds are expected to be exceeded).Contribute to the implementation and testing of CI/CD pipelines.

Proactively identify and resolve all issues related to database systems to ensure that systems are performing in line with business expectations and without service interruption.

Build and manage the database disaster recovery and backup plans.
Create and maintain stored procedures, views, tables, jobs, triggers, collections etc.

Develop new and enhance existing standards, processes and procedures, and guidelines for database environments using industry experiences, best practices research, and business needs.

Analyze and report the performance of database operations against the key database performance metrics.
Contribute to a positive team attitude.

Qualifications

Required:

Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment to meet client deadlinesStrong organizational, analytical skills, problem-solving skills and high attention to detailHighly developed written and strong oral communication skillsFlexibility in working hours according to business needsA bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

2+ years of experience with T-SQLExperience with architecture and performance optimization of enterprise level database systemsExperience analyzing and optimizing for back end specific performance metricsExperience in data modeling, schema design and deployment of database structuresExperience with automating DBA tasksExperience with Cloud-based DB solutions is a plusExperience with document databases (MongoDB)

Experience with CI/CD pipelinesStrong problem-solving skills and high attention to detailExperience working in an Agile development environmentPreferred:
Experience with high availability database environmentsExperience with enterprise cloud-based data warehousing solutionsExperience with database-centric performance testing tools.
