Reporting to the Brand Leader, the Creative Lead 1 is an integral part of the design team and broader creative Center of Excellence (COE). This position sets the creative direction for a global team of creatives and influences design direction across the broader organization. The Creative Lead keeps a finger on the pulse of design across multiple distribution channels to shape RSM design strategy. The individual deeply understands the RSM brand and provides input to the Brand Leader and Global Brand team around the evolution across channels and over time.

The Creative Lead manages and develops a team of creatives who produce design assets across a wide range of deliverables, including graphic design, presentations, data visualization and multimedia design. They understand and champion user experience and ensure the team creates engaging experiences across a wide range of distribution channels and asset types, includingdigital,social, video, print, environment and more. They have depth of experience in creating these deliverables and asset types, understand the client's needs and challenges with them, have a passionate point of view about them, and are an active voice in evolving the visual identity with respect to them.

Because this role sets the creative direction for the design team, the Creative Lead is a positive, forward-thinking leader, who fosters an environment of unique and progressive creativity based on embracing new technology, social, media and design trends, develops both the technical and soft skills of their team, encourages collaboration and communication, and strives to be trend setters within the organization.

The Creative Lead also plays a leadership role in the firm by interacting with other design and brand professionals inside and outside the firm; influencing creatives who sit in other business functions to ensure RSM's visualbrandismaintainedacross allchannels, providing art and creative direction to agencies or vendors, guiding colleagues to find creative solutions to business challenges and collaborating with the global design team to evolve the firm's visual identity. They identify gaps in the organization and propose solutions. They influence through building relationships.

The Creative Lead is a strong leader with exceptional communication skills who takes a lead in conceptualizing, refining and pitching solutions ranging from high-profile internal programs to market-facing initiatives, working across the design team and broader organization to tell compelling stories.

Design team leaderresponsibilities :

Establishes the vision for the firm's creative direction, while working within the framework of an established brand. Provides creative and art direction to creative team, agencies and other internal and external parties. Oversees and/or manages high-profile, complex or new initiatives, working closely with project stakeholders and individual team members. Builds an in-house agency culture of smart experimentation in service of doing what is right for the business across the creative team. Creates and pitches concepts and understands differing ways to approach the pitch and sell ideas in the organization. Provides brand oversight and direction on design projects managed outside of the marketing COE, where appropriate, with an eye on enterprise consistency. Drives the development of department processes, collaboration, organization and other subjects critical to effective department performance. Establishes an environment of trust, teamwork, development, empowerment and entrepreneurship through quality communication, relationship development and problem-solving. Fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence and identifies and creates opportunities for skill and other development across the team.

Functional leadresponsibilities :

Utilizes your deep understanding of the power of creative to elevate the impact of our work and position in the market. Serves as a brand champion for the firm, working collaboratively across the organization to educate, evangelize and protect an established and well-loved brand. Understandsmarketing channels, strategies, and overall business goals. Develops creative strategies and approaches to support these goals. Identifies the tools and vendors needed to efficiently deliver design and visual storytelling at scale.Works with the appropriate internal teams to minimize tool duplication and share best practices/learnings, including collaborating with firm leaders on development of AI protocols. Works collaboratively with team members in other firm functions to ensure thebrandandourvisualstrategyare incorporated toeffectivelyconvey the firm's promise, mission and values. Oversees department workflow and capacity, utilizing external resources or solutions where appropriate. Builds strong working relationships and establishes a regular communication cadence of information to other groups and individuals. Coaches across COE and marketing teams to promote a consistent user experience for prospects and clients. Champions innovation and thoughtful experimentation that evolves best practices.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or Certificate in Graphic Design or equivalent experience; required

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

In-depth working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; required Exceptional project management skills; required Fearless attitude towards technology and a willingness to learn new design and leadership skills is required. A natural and passionate curiosity and interest in the creative world, including trends, emerging technologies and digital consumption; required. Excellent ability to build and maintain relationships Deep understanding of how design plays a role in overall brand perceptions and experience; preferred. Strong business acumen and creative vision; required.

EXPERIENCE

10+yearsof design experience;required Strong client liaison background; experienced at presenting to leadership level clients Onlineportfoliotodemonstrateskillandexperience;required Strong creative vision and experience across a range of digital, social and integrated media resulting in successful business outcomes; required.
