Job Description:

  • Full vehicle Crash structure Finite element model preparation/coordination
  • Cross Functional coordination for Model build (Dura, NVH)
  • Perform Crash structural load cases
  • High Speed Crash – Frontal, Side, Rear
  • Quasi static Load cases – Seats, Roof
  • In-depth analysis of simulation results and identification of Root cause
  • Suggest Countermeasures/Design proposals to meet Functional requirements
  • Interaction with multiple stakeholders (Design/Testing/CAE)
  • Presentation of simulation results to stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Mechanical/ Automobile

Mandatory Skills:

  • 5-8 years Experience in Automotive structural crash simulations (Vehicle level)
  • Strong Engineering fundamentals - Structures
  • Full vehicle Model build & Integration, Post processing
  • Full vehicle Crash simulations-Front/Side/Rear
  • Tools : Ansa, Animator, LS-Dyna or Pam crash
  • Good communication skills
  • Scripting skills - Python preferred
