Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Line Inspector with substantial experience in the fasteners manufacturing industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing production lines, ensuring quality standards, and leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure High-
Quality Production:
Regularly inspect and ensure that all products meet the precise specifications and quality standards specific to fastener manufacturing.
- Machinery Oversight: Monitor and maintain the optimal functioning of production machinery, implementing preventive maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Compliance and Standards: Enforce adherence to industryspecific regulatory standards and company policies, particularly those affecting the fasteners sector.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate a team of production workers, promoting best practices and safety on the manufacturing floor.
- Process Improvement: Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen and 5S to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Problem Resolution: Utilize techniques like Why-Why Analysis and Root Cause Analysis to troubleshoot and resolve production issues swiftly.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in the fasteners manufacturing industry.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Quality Control are a plus.
