The Position

We are looking for a Sales Support Executive who will join our Port Services division.


In Port Services, we provide our customers with peace of mind while we handle their cargo, their vessels, and their crew.

We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose.

We match local expertise with strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers' port calls as efficient and safe as possible.

About the location

The position will be located at Naiman Point, Mumbai, India

What you will be doing

  • You will be responsible for support in applicable systems to the Wilhelmsen Port Services network. Provide sales and customer performance analysis. Prepare presentations. Provide other support to Strategic Ship agency manager, Ships Agency Directors, Strategic Sales Managers and Tenders and Contracts Managers, on request.
  • Prepare Statistical data on the various calls of vessels across India.
  • Work with Sales Managers to monitor and drive improvement of customer data accuracy and completeness in Salesforce.
  • Work with all applicable system owners to maintain data quality.
  • Assist Sales Process and CRM Manager and Central Services with customer data and performances.
  • Prepare and organise sales meetings and customer events.
  • Assist the SADs in driving the sales team to increase the opportunity conversion rate (through monthly drill down report to the SADs of each SMs performance).
  • Attend sales meetings as required.
  • Provide other support to SSD, SADs, SSMs, Commercial Analyst, Contract and Tenders Manager on request.
  • Generate reports for sales management team as required.

Skills required

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably within sales, marketing, or other relevant areas.
  • Min 2 years administrative working experience.
  • Proven communication skills and a good command of the English language (verbal and written).
  • Administrative skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.
  • Computer literate and good command of MS Office, CRM systems, Excel etc.
  • Proactive, takes responsibility and delivers.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
