J&J Finance Solutions and Technology (FS&T) is recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst (SFA), Ledger Operations.

In this role the SFA will support the Ledger Operations team in establishing a strategy to design a simplified Equity Clearing process which enables the business to view results based on management responsibility internally and externally for SEC, and US Tax and local statutory reporting.

The preferred locations for this role are Zug, Switzerland, New Brunswick (New Jersey), Pinewood, United Kingdom, Beerse, Belgium or Ireland, but the role can also be based out of other J&J locations in NA and EMEA.

Up to 10% travel may be required.


The SFA Ledger Operations is a critical role that will support the transition of the business from the current state Management Reporting Company structure to the future state Legal Entity led solution for external reporting purposes.

Transitioning the reporting construct to be LE focused will drive incremental outcomes across the organization and this individual through data analytics will support the project team leads in designing and developing an aligned path to the future state Equity Clearing process.


This individual will be exposed to a variety of business processes across all functions and will engage with individuals across the global finance organization, in particular Consolidations, Corporate Tax, BU Finance and GS.


This role collaborates with a global network of finance professionals to provide support in documenting and designing the Equity Clearing interim and end state processes.

This individual will support driving business technology alignment, data integrity, consistent process deployment and adoption, KPI measurement, and performance management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support team in delivering of key Ledger Operation milestones linked to CFIN Release 2 (Vision) and 3 (Medtech & Corporate)
  • Provide insightful analytics in developing and bringing forward recommendations to the F&ST and Corporate Controllership leadership team on how to deliver Interim and End State design.
  • Leverage analytics to identify gaps/challenges in the current CFIN M1 ledger focused on Equity Clearing.
  • Support timely execution of program deliverables in alignment with the integrated project plan for the Ledger Operations team, focused on Equity Clearing and Corporate Adjustments
  • Partner closely with internal, crossfunctional stakeholders to support continuous improvement and corrective actions in instances of process breakdowns.
  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) linked to the CFIN M1 ledger to drive adherence to global standards.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • Advanced degrees such as a CPA, CMA or MBA/Master's is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of finance, accounting or related business experience is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.) is required.
  • Must possess the ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization and have strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.
  • Must be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The ability to maintain and improve consistent and sound business processes in a dynamic, crosscultural environment is required.
