Job Description
  • Implementation of SAP Application Performance Management (APM) Solutions for in-house SAP Systems
  • Deep understanding of solution manager operations with respect to performance monitoring and management.
  • Design, Implement, Support and Manage SAP Specific Requirements for Observability
  • Management of Monitoring-Requirements with Business- and SAP-Teams
  • Installation of ABAP Agents SAP Systems and its administration
  • Configuration of Agent and Application use cases based on Requirements
  • Coordination with Development Team and other Key Stakeholders for Packaging, Approvals, Change management Process, etc.
  • Collaborate with in-house SAP Support / Operations Teams to use APM
  • Technical Escalation support, collaboration with Stakeholders

Technical Skills

  • Experience in setting up including features like alerting, reporting and analytics capabilities and troubleshooting for Business Process Monitoring (BPMon)
  • Skilled in System Monitoring, ICMON, Idoc , PI Monitoring and solution documentation
  • SAP Solution Manager (monitoring configuration), S4HANA, HANA Database, Fiori, BI
  • Installation of SAP Systems and its administration(SAP BASIS)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Instance, database and transaction code/ query tuning to improve the performance of the database/application.
  • Good understanding of SAP workload management and memory management
  • Should be able to analyze performance bottlenecks (system-wide) on SAP HANA or OS level w.r.t ABAP based applications.
  • Should be able to analyze and troubleshoot expensive statements in SAP HANA
  • Deep SQL statement analysis and query tuning expertise on SAP HANA
  • Analytical skills on Solution architecture and provide recommendations based on System performance optimization.
  • Experience in FRUN, Cloud ALM is an added advantage
  • Experience in non-SAP solutions APM like AppDynamics, Dynatrace or any is an added advantage
Qualifications
  • Expertise in o SAP Monitoring Technologies (preferably Application Performance Management using AppDynamics for SAP)
  • SAP Solution Manager (monitoring configuration), S4HANA, HANA Database, Fiori, BI
  • SAP Basis Administration activities o SAP Architectures and Modules o Scripting – PowerShell / Shell Knowledgeable in o SAP ABAP Development and Packaging concepts
  • Network infrastructure, Firewall, Load balancing setup, and Security implementation o Non-SAP Technologies (Java, .Net) o Cloud – Azure / AWS and Google Cloud
  • Knowledgeable in ITIL Service Management Framework (Incident, Change, Problem management)
  • Excellent communication (Business English) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
