Job Description
Working Location - Primary Location would be Production Unit, Kadi Mehsana

Reporting To - EHS Manager

Education - BE Environment or MSc Environment Science

Experience - Minimum 2 years

Profile Summary:
-


The stated position is Environment Executive and primarily responsible for implementing the company's HSE systems in the plant and implement positive environment culture at site.

Key Stake Holders:
  • ETP Operation staff, Government agency, employees, workers

This position has responsibilities as below:

  • Working with operations to ensure superior environmental compliance and continuous improvement in order to support business objectives.
  • Establishing and maintaining sustainability environmental data management process, including the data collection system and analysis, as well as collaborating with site personnel and operations to ensure accuracy of it.
  • Identify, study, and recommend sustainability related initiatives to reduce overall environmental footprint. Areas of focus include greenhouse gases (GHG), energy use, water use and waste generation.
  • Pollution Control Board compliance and preparing the Monthly & annual Filing/submission in accordance with the applicable Environment law.
  • Active coordination with the pollution board officials during the visit.
  • Compliance of the various statutory approvals like CTE, CTO, EC, CGWA, Plastic Waste Registration etc includes document preparation and submission as per time frame.
  • Hazardous waste management includes preparation of the manifest for the hazardous waste generated from the plant. Maintain the data related to waster generation and disposal.
  • Ensure preparation & submission of the documents as per the environmental statutory provisions as per the timeline.
  • Ensure waste traceability, reduction plan and ensuring circular economy.
  • Assist in other Environmental, Health and Safety projects.
  • Carrying out the site Aspect and Impact Assessment of the plant operation activities.
  • Ensure the operation of the effluent treatment plant as per the statutory norms.
  • Ensure the operation of the water treatment facilities at the site like Reverse Osmosis system.
  • Ensure the operation of the STP.
  • Ensure the implementation of ISO 14001 at the site.
  • Support for the other health & safety related activities at the site.
