Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of staff (service engineers, sales support) engaged in supporting, promoting and selling Moto graders and related services; overseeing the resolution of customer complaints.
Developing and managing strategies to optimize costs and maximize prime and aftermarket sales in regionSkill DescriptorsCustomer Focus:understanding of customer drivers and economics in one or more Asia Pacific regionsIndustry and product knowledge: understanding of Moto grader industry, trends, Caterpillar and dealer organizations.
Experience with and understanding of several aspects of the broader value chain:suppliers, manufacturing, design, logistics, marketing, sales, aftermarket, product support and distributionProject management: set up project teams, identification of root causes, development of corrective actions, stakeholder involvement, strong governance disciplineLeadership skills:Intellectual curiosity and entrepreneur mindsetDefinition of winning, vision setting for the moto grader business in the region, execution towards visionPeople developmentDecision making and autonomous workStrong communication skills and interpersonal skillsRequired experience:At least 15 years of relevant work experienceCaterpillar or dealer technical/commercial field experience or equivalent for earthmoving product and/or servicesProduct design, manufacturing and/or management experience with earthmoving productsKnowledge of one or more of the key Asia Pacific marketsLeadership experience or demonstrated team lead capabilities
