We're looking for a Founding Member - Sales & Marketing to join Datazip and drive our marketing and growth efforts. This role requires someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, who is customer-focused, has a keen sense for products, and loves working with data and marketing.

Pre-requisites: 0.5-2 year Data analytics / Data Engineering experience

Preferred Total Experience: 1-4 years

As the Founding member, you'll develop and manage the GTM strategy and execution for Indian and US markets. Your job will involve understanding the market, ensuring our products meet customer needs, and communicating effectively to win sales. You'll also be hands-on with different marketing channels to help grow our business.

You'll work closely with the Product teams at Datazip and play a key role in cross-functional projects. This job is based in Bangalore and involves taking complete ownership of the GTM strategy, including both the creation and execution of marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the entire GTM strategy and its performance.
  • Research customers thoroughly to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Managing GTM channels (both Outbound and Inbound) and sales team to meet sales targets efficiently.
  • Develop a GTM playbook in collaboration with the product and sales team for repeatable success.
  • Provide the sales team with product knowledge and tools to help them succeed.
  • Get involved in detailed work to grow the company from the ground up.

Inbound Channel Building:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy to drive inbound leads and increase brand visibility.
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize website content for SEO (both on-page and off-page).
  • Plan and execute offline/online events to promote the brand and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with the product team to launch new products on platforms like Product Hunt.
  • Analyze data and metrics to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing.

Outbound Channel Building:

  • Develop comprehensive launch strategies for new markets.
  • Drive marketing automation and sales enablement to reach potential customers.
  • Experiment with growth channels and campaigns to create a sales pipeline.
  • Use tools like HubSpot, Apollo, and Sales Navigator for marketing outreach.

Preferred Experience:

  • A history of implementing effective marketing strategies and leading product integrations.
  • A track record of successful developer product launches, especially in the US, and a knack for leading in the market.
  • Ability to generate a pipeline of qualified sales leads and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Analytical skills, especially in marketing analytics and search engine optimization.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and executives.
  • A proactive approach, with a focus on quick action and fast-paced work.
  • Knowledge of marketing technology tools like HubSpot, Apollo, and Sales Navigator.
