Responsibilities and Duties:
Review and analyze data and apply a client-proprietary methodology to determine Ratings for companies based on their ESG performance Deliver high quality ESG research for companies on a timely basis Co-ordinate with internal and external suppliers in enhancing the quality of the data sourced Contribute to ongoing improvement of ratings model Contribute in implementing processes critical for ensuring operational stabilityRequired Skills/Abilities:
Sector expertise including an understanding of the various business activities in the relevant sector and a knowledge of different business models used by industry players Knowledge of long-term trends & developments in the sector of interest Strong analytical skills including logical thinking and good decision-making abilities and an ability to articulate viewpoints Strong communication skills- both oral and written Comfortable working in a team environment across hierarchies, functions and geographies Ability to work under minimum supervision Prior knowledge or experience of ESG research/principles is helpful but not essentialEducation and Experience:
Post – Graduate/Graduate with 3 or more years of experience in business research or equity research or policy research in the BFSI sector
