Job Description:

As a Business Analyst for our AI solution development project for a commercial insurance company, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business users, project managers, data scientists, and developers, to ensure the successful delivery of the AI solution.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Must Have Skills:

  • Proven experience (6 – 8 years) as a Business Analyst in IT projects, in the P&C insurance industry.
  • Solid understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, including machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data from multiple sources.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering:
Engage with stakeholders from the customer org to understand their business needs, pain points, and objectives. Translate these requirements into clear and concise business requirements, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.

Business Process Analysis:
Analyze existing business processes to identify opportunities for optimization and automation using AI technologies. Propose innovative solutions that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Data Analysis:

Work closely with data scientists and data engineers to assess the availability, quality, and relevance of data required for AI model development.

Collaborate on data acquisition, cleansing, and preparation activities to ensure data readiness for AI model training.

Solution Design:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end AI solutions that address business challenges identified during the analysis phase. Document solution workflows, and integration requirements.

Risk Assessment:
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and dependencies associated with the AI solution implementation. Work with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize project risks.

Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as a primary point of contact for communication between the project team and stakeholders. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather feedback and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.

Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with QA analysts to define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and validation procedures for the AI solution.

Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to ensure that the solution meets business requirements and delivers value to end-users.
