Key Responsibilities:

Take lead in design and development of exhaust system components and chassis equipment installation. Experience of defining clear roadmap within responsible areas in line with organization's strategic interests and understanding in the broader business context​. Handling of quality tools through the development process, cross functional requirement balancing and stake holder management. Delivers value through decision-making even under ambiguity based on up-to-date market understanding, collaborates with suppliers to co-develop product solutions. Exhaust system thermal simulation and back pressure analysis and design optimization. Handling of vehicle packaging, virtual durability verification and physical validation needs of respective system. Work closely with ETLs and cross functional teams to develop the system and components. Work closely with project managers and cross functional teams to anticipate process steps and risks and propose mitigation plans. Product maintenance: Solving quality issues and market support. Advanced engineering of system and components to meet future demand. Engineering documentation of drawings, technical requirement, functional specification and managing change

Education, Skills and Experience:

BE/ME – Mechanical/Automobile Engineering equivalent with 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience. Exposure to powertrain architecture and its effect on vehicle integration is required. Hands-on work experience in truck chassis aggregates / equipment installation. Strong in system design, being analytical and problem-solving ability. Knowledge of design verification and validation is required. Good knowledge of application of GD&T. Extensive hands-on experience in Creo and PDM software, exposure to vehicle packaging is required.

Additional requirements:

Good networking and interpersonal skills with good verbal and written English communication. Process oriented way of working and a team player mindset are success factors in this role. Be structured, well organized, recognize the value and importance of providing solutions with the right quality level and on time.
