Job Title: Multi-Cloud Active Directory Administrator

SCOPE/PURPOSE OF POSITION:

- Reporting to the Service Owner of Global Compute platforms, the Multi-Cloud Active Directory Administrator plays a crucial role as the subject matter expert for Active Directory. They collaborate with various technical teams to ensure the successful completion of important Corning projects.

- Responsibilities include evaluating the current Active Directory environment, recommending improvements, and preparing for the transition of responsibilities. The role involves guiding the delivery of key objectives, communication between different teams, and navigating through complex situations.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Designing, installing, configuring, and managing Active Directory
  • Setting standards, policies, and guidelines for Active Directory
  • Developing and supporting solutions aligned with business needs
  • Supporting project start-up and providing technical consultation
  • Building relationships to drive better strategies and services
  • Assisting with quality change control and mentoring team members
  • Providing escalated support for critical issues

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

WORK EXPERIENCE: 3+ years in Active Directory and Windows system administration, with a focus on cloud platforms

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in Active Directory Design and Migration at an enterprise level
  • Implementing Active Directory Security Best Practices
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Servers, Azure AD, and more
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to drive operational excellence
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and public cloud models
