As a member of the Finance Systems and Data Team, you'll be responsible for supporting the ADVANCE Enhancement project where AVEVA is investing in redesigning and enhancing the ADVANCE ERP solution (Oracle Fusion Applications).

The solution comprises of multi-currency, multi-ledger fusion cloud applications and has complex integrations with multiple systems.
As an Oracle Report Developer/Technical Consultant.

the job holder would be primarily responsible for enhancing/improving a subset of reports in the current reporting catalogue which has a combined mix of 120
OTBI and BIP reports.

Responsibilities & Duties
Advisory
Discuss latest Oracle reporting capabilities, tools, and best practices in the context of AVEVA's reporting requirements.
Participate, lead, or assist requirements gathering sessions or workshops.
Assist business users with interpreting objectives and requirements, translating them into a detailed technical specification.
Analyze report requirements and be prepared to challenge and discuss with business users where necessary.
Articulation and presentation of proposed reports to stakeholders and new users if required.
Design & Implement
Prepare and maintain functional deliverables including AN100 documentations and release management documents.
Conduct thorough unit testing and quality assurance to ensure reports meet specifications.

Work with internal test team when necessary to advise on requirements for testing reports and assist with preparing test cases.

Adhere to AVEVA report development guidelines and provide suggestions for further improvements.
Review and apply appropriate security and controls to all reports.
Collaborate and assist business users with report testing.
Collaborate with deployment teams to deploy reports into production.
Support

Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, working with end users, IT and 3rd Party Applications Management Service Team and other technical teams to identify root causes and resolutions.

Be available to GPOs, RPOs and end users to help answer questions.
Be flexible working across different time zones when required.

Knowledge and experiences required.
The individual should be able to demonstrate at least 5 years of hand on experience as an Oracle Technical Consultant or a similar role, with strong focus on Oracle reporting tools in cloud-based environments such as:

OTBI

BICC
BI Publisher
FRS (Financial Reporting Studio)
Experience in developing complex reports, templates and dashboards based on the following Oracle ERP cloud modules:
Genal Accounting
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Time and Labour (OTL)
Project & Portfolio Management
Project Accounting, Costing & Billing
Procurement
Subscription Management
Revenue Management
Experience in working for and supporting global / multi-ledger/ multi-currency/ implementations and localizations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently and effectively.

Ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvements, enhancements, and optimizations, and propose viable solutions to maximize end user satisfaction and business outcomes.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders, project teams, technical teams, and end users.
Knowledge and experiences desired
Exposure to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Fusion Analytics Warehouse would be a plus.
Oracle Certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Associates, Oracle Certified Professional) would be a plus.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field would be a plus.
