We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Counsellor to join our team at Gurgaon Dlf City location.

As a Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in assisting students in making informed decisions regarding their academic and career paths.

You will primarily be responsible for providing guidance and support to students aspiring to excel in exams like CAT, CLAT, and CUET.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting oneonone counselling sessions with students to understand their academic backgrounds, career aspirations, and exam goals.
  • Providing detailed information about the CAT, CLAT, and CUET exams, including exam patterns, eligibility criteria, and important dates.
  • Offering personalized guidance and advice to students on exam preparation strategies, study plans, and time management techniques.
  • Assisting students in identifying their strengths and weaknesses and recommending suitable courses and study materials.
  • Addressing any concerns or queries raised by students regarding the coaching programs and services offered by the institute.
  • Collaborating with the teaching faculty to monitor students' progress and performance and providing feedback for improvement.
  • Organizing seminars, workshops, and orientation sessions to educate students and parents about the importance of exam preparation and career planning.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest trends and developments in the education sector and competitive exams to provide relevant and uptodate information to students.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience working as a Counsellor or Academic Advisor, preferably in a CAT coaching institute.
  • Indepth knowledge of the entrance exams, including exam patterns, syllabus, and selection process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and parents effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to assess students' needs and provide appropriate guidance and support.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings as per the institute's requirements.
