OCI Storage EngineerAn Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Data Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data pipelines and data infrastructure solutions within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform.

They work closely with teams to understand data requirements, implement data integration solutions, and ensure data quality, availability, and security.


The job responsibilities include:

Data Pipeline Design and Implementation:

Designing and implementing efficient and scalable data pipelines and workflows using OCI data integration and processing services such as Oracle Data Integration Platform, Oracle Data Flow, and Oracle Database.

This involves data ingestion, transformation, enrichment, and loading processes to support data integration and analytics requirements.

Data Warehouse and Database Management:
Managing and optimizing databases and data warehouses within OCI, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.

They work with database administrators to design and implement database schemas, set up replication and clustering, and optimize queries and indexing for efficient data retrieval.


Data Integration and ETL:

Developing and implementing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a format suitable for analysis, and load it into target databases or data warehouses.

They utilize OCI data integration tools, scripting languages, and SQL queries to perform data transformations and ensure data consistency and quality.


Data Governance and Security:
Implementing data governance processes and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data within OCI. They enforce data security policies, access controls, and encryption mechanisms to protect sensitive information.

They also ensure compliance with data regulations and industry best practicesData Architecture and Modeling:

Collaborating with architects, data scientists, and business analysts to design and implement data architectures and models that support data integration, analytics, and reporting requirements.

Collaboration and Consultation:
