You will be working as Regional Solutions Consultant – Process Performance AMEA and will be part of Process Automation business for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India.
In this role you will be reporting to Regional General Manager and will be responsible for prioritizing participation and alignment with sales and monitor key deal activity to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly budgets.
Your responsibilities- Capturing market opportunities, understanding customer drivers and digitalization needs, developing and evolving technology partnerships and translating these into a solutionbased business strategy to leverage untapped digital value
- Developing and implementing appropriate and often new business models for digital transformation opportunities in process performance (advanced process control APC/MPC, analytics, performance services, simulation) with customers in all process industries verticals (mining, pulp & paper, metals, food & beverage)
- Analyzing customer requirements to ensure digital solution(s) meets objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge and business acumen
- Acting as a highlevel technical expert for the process performance portfolio across process industries verticals, providing knowledge and analysis of specialized software applications and operational environments, functional systems analysis, design, integration and implementation advice for complex digital solution implementation
- Interfacing with and influences customer's senior technical and business leadership
- Continuously driving business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions with sales teams
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering or related technical field
- Require 10 to 15 years of experience driving digital transformation for complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment (process, energy, software, technology, automation), handson experience of the OT / software industry business with focus on digitalization and industrial software. Deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends. Proven track record in consultative selling, strong customer focus, exposure to customer top management, driving results, building pipeline and turning opportunities into sales successes, ability to drive success in direct and matrix organization
- Experience in either one or more of the division industrial domains of mining, pulp and paper, metals, food and beverage pretest, tuning, step testing, model identification, inferential deployment, interfacing and commissioning. Deep experience in the industrial software environment.; Divisionspecific industry exposure (industrial automation/advanced software/...) preferred; experience and background in either one or more of the division industrial domains of mining, pulp and paper, metals, food and beverage
- Background in cloud and edge technologies, digital twins, analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning as applied to process performance solutions. Handson experience with software applications in APC and simulation such as ABB Expert Optimizer, Opt800 , Aspen DMC, Honeywell Profit Suite, Aspen Hysis, Honeywell UniSim, KBC Petrosim, equationbased optimization
- Experience in justification, design, implementation and maintenance of process control applications. Understanding of pretest, tuning, step testing, model identification, inferential deployment, interfacing and commissioning
- Excellent networking skills matured in a highly international organization, "leading by influence". Fluency in English, both written and spoken, additional language a plus
