Your role and responsibilities

Providing expert leadership in the SAP Finance, controlling and project systems service line and is the representative and spokesperson of the Finance domain for AMEA ERP CoE
Accountable and responsible for the solutions and services in a multi-country set-up. Understanding the requirements of business, customers, consumers and associated personas and providing high value solutions
Collaborating and partnering with other domains, functions and demand organizations. Managing and support project portfolio and resource allocation
Identify and resolving issues between team members or other teams. Defining, following and enforcing tools, methods and procedures for the domain. Ensuring the domain and team is aligned to given goals and compliant with ABB IS Enterprise Architecture, other applicable ABB Group Directives and Guidelines
Enhancing productivity and automation. Managing assigned budget if any and delivering within agreed schedules and costs. On request, participate in the definition of costs and schedules
Driving to increase the overall satisfaction with AMEA ERP CoE in the region and overall IS services by assessing expectations, verifying that actions are taken to close any gap, and influencing stakeholder perceptions of services
Inspiring and leading the team. Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guiding, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee
Ensuring solutions and services are fully compliant with security, controls and standards

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO. Strong understanding of SAP integration and end-to-end processes
  • SAP certification is desirable. Proven track record of creating solution designs and leading implementation teams
  • Solid people management skills with 5+ years of experience in team management. Advanced ability to communicate effectively with local, global and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC knowledge
  • Fluent spoken and written English
