Required Skills:

  • 3 to 6 years of progressive experience as a Database Administrator, with a strong focus on managing and optimizing various databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining DBA scripts for automation and optimization purposes.
  • Indepth knowledge of replication, clustering, and failover strategies to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyse and resolve complex database issues.
  • Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices for database systems.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.

Good to Have:

  • Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Database
  • Specialty or equivalent, are highly desirable.
  • Expertise in AWS cloud services, particularly in migrating onpremises databases to AWS environments.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in software engineering/Computer Science OR equivalent degree
