About the PositionSummary of vacancyAs an IT Support Engineer, you will provide engineering expertise, from desktop through to server operational IT Support as well as develop technical solutions for internal partner teams.

This role will be varied across BAU support and project-based solutions like the installation, configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers.

Need to ensure integrity and security of data, server resources, and services, and provide support to end-users.
Role and ResponsibilitiesThis is what our engineer's day to day looks like;

  • Maintaining and provisioning server and user workstations
  • Build and manage user laptops through Autopilot
  • Configure Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for user and group management.
  • Configure and optimize Azure services to meet performance and scalability requirements
  • Maintain documentation for Azure configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Use Azure Automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) to automate routine tasks and resource provisioning
  • Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions.
  • Support and maintenance of infrastructure applications and systems
  • Monitor for security breaches and investigate security incidents.
  • Management of Asset inventories e.g. Laptops/ Desktops/Software through Jira tool
  • Maintaining the high-resolution rate within the team working within company SLA's
  • Ensuring that IT technology standards and policies are adhered to
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
  • Provide 1st


2nd

line IT support for company employees.

  • Participate in out of hours on-call Rota


and provide support for Global usersBeyond the day-to-day, the team contributes to longer term technical projects, IT infrastructure efforts, automation and IT process improvements.

May be required to work outside regular hours for system maintenance, upgrades, or responding to emergencies.
About You

Minimum of 4 years varied IT support experience in a similar role.
Experience with Directory Services – Active Directory /AZURE ADProven experience as a System Administrator with expertise in Microsoft Azure.
A relevant IT qualification is desirable such as Microsoft Certified IT Professional, VMWare.
Experience working with ITIL framework and associated best practice.
Experience with


Jira Service Desk highly desirable , or equivalent (ServiceNow)Experience in building and configuring Windows Server 2012+Office 365 administration – User lifecycle, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams etc.

Experience supporting the desktop OS (Win10) and associated applications such as Teams, Outlook and SharePoint.(O365)Good understanding of Networking principles – (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)Excellent understanding of

IT security best practices.

Experience working within a DevOps environment would be desirableExperience in Enterprise backup software solutions such as Veeam would be desirable.
