Job Overview:


As the Technology Head at company, you will lead all aspects of the company's technological development, IT operations, and digital strategies.

This pivotal role involves overseeing the IT department, collaborating with other departments to identify technological needs,and implementing innovative solutions to enhance business operations and drive growth.

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT systems.


In this role, you will be responsible for large deal solutioning which will cut across multiple towers such as applications, infrastructure, data, AI, security, industry domain, digital operations, and others.

You will own the deal end to end and will have the responsibility of defining and agreeing the win themes, solution strategy, commercial construct, marketing and driving executive leadership buy-in on your strategy for winning the deal.

The role will require you to collaborate with sales teams and manage the larger ecosystem of stakeholders and mentor future leaders on the job.

This is a customer facing role and requires you to bring design thinking, technology leadership, along with ability to influence and shape customer thinking and strategy while driving thought leadership internally and externally.

As a leader, you will be responsible for building technology capability for the organization and closely collaborating with our Technology Practices, Delivery Teams, and Service Lines.

You will be measured on wins and value.

Roles & Responsibilities :
1.

Technology Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement the company's overall technology strategy aligned with business goals. Identify opportunities for technological innovation and evaluate emerging technologies. Collaborate with executive leadership to establish technology priorities and allocate resources effectively.

Leadership and People Management:

  • Provide strong leadership to the IT department, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff to ensure a high level of expertise within the team. Delegate tasks effectively, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of IT projects.

IT Operations and Infrastructure:

  • Oversee the management of the company's IT infrastructure for optimal performance,security, and reliability. Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain compliance and mitigate risks. Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime.

Software Development and Application Support:

  • Lead the software development lifecycle to deliver highquality, scalable applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope. Provide technical guidance and support to the development team.

Cybersecurity and Data Protection:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect company's sensitive information. Monitor security measures and conduct regular audits for improvements. Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and recommend proactive measures.

Digital Transformation and Innovation:

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to streamline processes and enhance customer experiences. Identify opportunities for innovation and automation to create competitive advantages. Foster a culture of innovation within the organization.

Financial Budget and Control:

  • Prepare the annual budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with customer and legal requirements. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects Input and hold responsibility for budgets.

Environmental:

  • Review environmental strategies that impact on future ways of operating and ensure implementation where possible. Review the use of technological systems that support a more environmentally friendly approach. Ensure environmental audits for engineering activities are carried out. Review opportunities to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Very strong communication and skills to influence outcomes at CXO levels and their direct leadership teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills in a complex matrix environment
  • 20+ years of experience in technology leadership roles.
  • Strong technical expertise across IT domains including infrastructure, development, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, PMP, ITIL, CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or

Microsoft Certified:
Azure Solutions Architect Expert are desirable.

  • Experience managing global IT projects and teams in diverse environments.

Desired Skills:

  • Proven track record in driving digital transformation and implementing innovative technologies.
  • Deep Client facing experience at strategic and tactical levels.
  • Selfstarter attitude and ability to operate in emerging / start up kind of culture.
  • Consultative selling experience, moving from understanding the Problem
  • Statements and Pain Areas to Potential Solutions.
  • Personal effectiveness to manage your own calendar and prioritising what's important.
  • Experience in cloudbased ERP implementation, mobile application development, cybersecurity framework implementation, legacy system migration, and data analytics platform deployment.
  • Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets.
