As a Business Analyst within the Digital Initiatives Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the, development, testing and implementation of IT projects, with a primary focus on Salesforce and other custom application development. You will need to collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions that drive system excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Administration and Development:
Manage and enhance our Salesforce instance to meet business requirements.
Oversee Salesforce applications, workflows, process automation, and data integration.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements for new features and functionalities.
Provide guidance and support to users, troubleshoot issues, and optimize Salesforce performance.
Application Development:
Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of custom applications and software solutions.
Lead a team of developers and ensure high-quality coding standards are maintained.
Work closely with business units to understand their needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in application development.
Systems Integration and Security:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT systems with existing infrastructure.
Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems, data, and applications.
Implement best practices for data backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity.
Vendor Management:
Evaluate and select external vendors and contractors when required.
Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met.
Qualifications -
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience (5- 6 years) as an IT Manager, with a focus on Salesforce and application development.
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform administration and customization.
Strong expertise in application development, software engineering, and project management.
Experience in mobile app development languages such as , Python, etc.
Previous experience leading and managing a team of IT professionals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer) are a plus.
