Job Description

  • The incumbent is expected to enable sales channels to align with the organizational objective of innovation, deliver unique customer experience, sales efficiency & cost effectiveness. The role's primary deliverables will be:
  • Work on overall Distribution Strategy of the organization: direct involvement in focused distribution strategy related projects (such as developing new sales channels, analyzing business from key customer segments, cost optimization etc.)
  • Provide analytical support to senior management: make presentations for senior leadership (CXO level) for internal events (Annual Strategy Meet, Board Meeting etc.) and external events (like IRDAI CEO's meet, media interviews, etc.)
  • Drive tactical initiatives and key projects for aiding growth of Distribution Channels – such as identifying new locations with potential to open new branches/sales hubs; monitor the performance on a regular basis and highlight key parameters which require intervention by leaders, regional teams etc.
  • Regular analysis of KPIs of top channels (productivity, activation, market share, cost reduction, attrition, etc.) and providing actionable insights for performance improvement
  • Create dashboards and reports for leadership, project updates, key initiatives, etc.
  • Develop SOPs and establish best practices on analytics and project management


Candidate Requirements:

  • Understanding of Indian Life Insurance landscape and distribution channels
  • Must have good proficiency in MS Application suite (Word, Excel-modelling, Powerpoint), knowledge of other tools would be a plus
  • Multi-tasker who understands urgency and hygiene while dealing with CXOs
  • Should be self-motivated, pro-active and organized
  • Innovative, creative, logical decision maker, exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to deliver the responsibilities assigned


Experience: 3-7 years

Education: Graduate/Post Graduate/MBA/CA
