About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking Market Risk Specialist for its Wholesale Counterparty Credit Risk ("WCCR") team, responsible for managing risk within the Regulated Fund Portfolio. This primarily includes Customary risk management processes for sector; most similar to functionality of Regulated NBFI Team, e.g., Due Diligence, Underwriting, Grading, Legal Negotiation, Counterparty Monitoring, Stress Testing and Watch List

In this role, you will:
  • Acting as primary contact for Front Office personnel to request new or changes to limits; provide lifecycle of monitoring for Front Office and WCCR management; escalate unresponsiveness issues to WCCR management.
  • Coordinating requests with Risk, including the tracking of the request and the constituent/financial documents associated with onboarding.
  • Reporting new business flows, as well as the tracking of new requests / onboarded accounts to business credits.
  • Inputting credit limits (MPE, TRE, tenor) into Wells Fargo Risk System.
  • Providing internal point of control for WCCR team.
The role will also require support for Desk Limit Programs. The program is conducted for the Asset Backed Financing (primarily short-dated trading of cash products) and Secondary Loan Trading product lines. The key activities would be as under:
  • Default Limit and Grade Input
  • Tracking of Counterparty and Product Exposures
  • Coordination of Exception Processes
  • Monthly Portfolio Reporting
  • Annual Counterparty and Program Review
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of underwriting, market risk, Capital Markets, desk analyst, trading, interest rate risk or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • CFA/FRM preferred
