Overview:

We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Sweet Shop Salesman to join our team.

As a Sweet Shop Salesman, you'll be responsible for helping customers find their favorite sweets and treats, providing excellent service, and keeping our shop clean and organized.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a smile and assist them in finding their desired sweets.
• Provide product recommendations and information about ingredients or flavors.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Keep shelves stocked and displays looking attractive.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the shop, including sweeping and wiping counters.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food hygiene standards are met.
• Assist in receiving and unpacking deliveries of new stock.
• Help with pricing and labeling products as needed.
• Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or complaints politely and promptly.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth operation of the sweet shop.

Requirements:

• Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes of stock.
• Good communication skills in English (additional language skills may be a plus).
• Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks as needed.
