- HVACYou'll make a difference byAble to define the architecture, thefunctionalities of the Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning systems.
Knowledge of multiple areas of applicationlike Metro, Passenger Coaches, Locomotives, etc.
Functionally manage project activities and/orexternal engineering sub-contractors.
Collaborate with other functional groups tomanage requirements and provide inputs for interfacing with Software,electrical and mechanical groups.
Lead the technical development of interior air-conditioningadhering to the Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD) commitments of theProject/Tender.
Key interface for HVAC systems from India towork with Headquarters / Lead unit in Europe or across the globe.
Deploy and apply development procedures,Engineering processes and PLM milestones into the design and development of HVACsystems.
Ensure an efficient interface & alignmentwith internal / External stakeholders such as Engineering, Procurement,Industrial Design, Manufacturing, Project management, suppliers &subcontractors for assigned project / Tender.
Responsible for Requirement management for HVACsystems scope and ensuring internal stakeholders & external suppliers'compliance in line with project QCD targets.
Responsible for Supplier identification,qualification & development from the Engineering side for HVAC systems.Evaluating technical offers from suppliers(Clause-by-clause reply).Lead & organize Design reviews as perproject/Tender milestones and get necessary approvals for design release.
Responsible for testing and validation of HVACsystems and leading, approval from the Engineering side. Able to define thetest plan and validate the test procedures to align with the customer.Estimating technical risks and definingmitigation plans.
Follow-up of engineering planning andanticipating potential delay in relation with interfacesSupport for Localization & FAI of the majorequipment and its sub-systems.
Desired Skills:
Mechanical Engineer with a minimum8 years' experience in HVAC subsystem design and development in the Rollingstock industry; specifically in the Indian market.
Knowhow and use Creo & PDMlink will be an added advantage.
Has already worked (preferably)with Train builders & interior suppliers.
Able to demonstrate managementof engineering teams when applicable.
Being agile, ability toprioritize and to work effectively under pressure to meet the deadline.
Able to work in aninternational & multicultural environment within a matrix organizationstructure.
Good written and spokencommunication skills (in English), and German language will be an addedadvantage.
Ready to travel locally and internationallywhen required by projects.
