We are seeking a diligent and organized Steward to join our team. As a Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. You will assist in maintaining a sanitary and efficient workspace, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, and other items as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Assist kitchen staff in food preparation tasks, such as washing and chopping vegetables, as needed.
  • Dispose of waste and recycling materials properly and ensure trash receptacles are emptied regularly.
  • Follow proper sanitation procedures to prevent foodborne illnesses and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Stock and replenish supplies in kitchen and dining areas, including condiments, utensils, and cleaning products.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
