We are currently on the lookout for a seasoned professional to join our team in the position of Financial Specialist.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Has a solid technical grasp of accounting principles and a proven ability in their application
  • The role encompasses tasks such as preparing, processing, and analyzing journals, invoices, MI reports, aged Debtors trackers, following up and recovering overdue debtor balances, reconciliations, and handling escalations with onshore business partners
  • Assessing and testing the efficiency of control activities and key controls as necessary
  • Ensuring that Invoicing, Accounting, and Debtors reconciliation adhere to approved standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Spotting opportunities for process re-engineering, automation, improvements, and successfully driving changes
  • Addressing and resolving issues/problems promptly and appropriately
  • Meeting established Performance Level Agreements (PLAs)
  • Effective communication and relationship building with Business Partners
  • Compiling and consolidating financial/non-financial management information reports for Functions, HOST, or businesses as per specific requirements
  • Analytical review: Guaranteeing that all significant variances are identified and explained in business terms

Requirements:

  • Analytical review/Problem-solving skills/Strong reporting skills
  • Familiarity with Invoicing, Accounting, and Debtors reconciliation
  • Solid knowledge of Finance and Accounting with exposure to Billing & Recharges, Accounting, and MI Reporting
  • Ability to comprehend the implications of functional change requests and new functionality requests in newly introduced applications
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with employees at various levels/business partners, customers, etc.
  • Capability and experience in coordinating with a team of skilled service delivery personnel
  • Proficient analytical review skills; enhancing customer deliverables through a profound understanding of the business and lateral thinking
