Why
Everyone worries about the dooms-day in climate change which is expected to occur in the 2050s. However, there's one doom's day which is the reality for millions of people around the world today. Air pollution takes more than 7 Million lives globally every single year. Over 5% of premature children death occur due to air pollution in developing countries.

Everyone has relied on governments or experts to solve the problem, but most solutions up until today have either been too expensive or too ineffective.

Praan is an attempt at making the future cleaner, healthier, and safer for the generations to come.

  • Work directly with our founder to understand the global talent requirements and accordingly formulate a strategic prioritybased hiring plan
  • Work alongside all engineering, design, business, and ops teams to understand human resources requirements.
  • Design and build college recruiting collaborations on behalf of the company.
  • Track applicant progress and schedule each stage of interview with appropriate team members to expedite closure.
  • Coordinate and plan onsite final stage interviews.
  • Ensure successful closure, conduct orientation and onboarding sessions with applicants.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Work alongside the team to understand position budgets, timelines, legal requirements, and closure.
  • Generate offer letters and edit employment agreements to closure.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and provide datadriven insights for process improvement.
  • Develop and maintain employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Be compliant with the company's data protection and confidentiality policies.
  • Stay updated and implement the policies in accordance with the changes in various labor laws and shifts in government guidelines to keep employees safe.
  • Develop HR policies, and ensure compliance by the employees like leave policy, et cetera
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations relating to employees.
  • Maintain all personnel policies and procedures and provide guidance and interpretation to staff.
  • Manage and ensure optimum performance and output by the employees.
  • Conduct thorough reference and background checks on potential hires.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on recruitment activities and progress to stakeholders.
  • Ensure employee wellness through culture and team building activities
  • Track employee performance month on month partnering with team leads and ensure successful outcomes are achieved per employee and team
  • Partner with the founder to achieve company level objectives by working on talent strategy

Skill Requirements

  • Non-Negotiable: Past Startup Experience
  • Past experience in hiring for various Engineering roles.
  • MBA in Human Resources Management.
  • Experience of 27 years in Talent Acquisition.
  • Capability to understand and communicate complex technical requirements across most engineering disciplines.
  • Understanding of the market and head hunting the right talent with creative ways of engaging with them.
  • Dedication to knowledge sharing at all stages in the hiring cycle.
  • Creative and innovative approach to independently tackle problems while working directly with the founder.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Understanding of expertise associated with CFD & FEA, Power Electronics, Embedded Systems, and Digital Signal Processing, DevOps, Frontend, Backend Web, Mobile app development, Supply chain, Manufacturing, Sales and Operations.
  • Ability to conduct behavioral interviews.
