Job Summary

The Nursing Superintendent plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the nursing services within the healthcare facility. This role involves coordinating, supervising, and guiding nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The Nursing Superintendent collaborates closely with medical and administrative teams to maintain operational efficiency and uphold patient safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Supervision:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and manage nursing personnel to maintain optimal performance levels.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, communication, and professional growth among the nursing team.
  • Patient Care:
  • Ensure the provision of safe, compassionate, and effective patient care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate patient records, including assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
  • Staff Development
    :Identify training needs and facilitate educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff

  • Support professional development initiatives, encouraging continuous learning and career progression.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain quality standards in nursing practices, infection control, and patient safety.
  • Implement corrective measures when deviations or incidents occur, promoting a culture of continuous improvement

Budget and Resource Management

Collaborate with the administrative team to allocate resources efficiently, including staff scheduling and budgeting for nursing supplies and equipment.

  • Regulatory Compliance
    :Ensure compliance with local and national regulations, policies, and accrediting body standards related to nursing care

  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with medical staff, allied health professionals, and other departments to facilitate seamless patient care and interdisciplinary communication.
  • Communication
    :Maintain effective communication channels between nursing staff, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications And Requirement
GNM or Post B.Sc in Nursing or equivalent; Master's degree in Nursing Administration preferred:

Valid nursing license in Haryana

Proven experience in nursing management or leadership roles

Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of healthcare protocols

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Familiarity with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards

Ability to make critical decisions under pressure and resolve conflicts

Salary

:

Up to ₹50,000.00 per month

Education

:

  • Diploma (preferred)

Experience

:

  • Nursing: 4 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:
