Job Overview

This position is part of the BPO cluster in the Pricing Assurance practice, aiding buyers and service providers in pricing decisions for BPO outsourcing. The practice offers advice on sourcing spend optimization, fair market price comparables, rationalizing BPO services portfolios, and more. The role involves analyzing unit pricing, ongoing productivity, ROI from transformation, and solution design elements.

Sample engagement types:

  • Supporting a CPG company in Europe with a commercial assessment of their contact center outsourcing services contract.
  • Assisting a Tier 1 BPO service provider with price benchmarks and solution sizing in Healthcare BPO services.
  • Conducting a review of a service provider's bid to an apparel manufacturer.
  • Reviewing lost bids for a BPO service provider in BFSI vertical.
  • Working with a BPO service provider to understand outcome-based models in Finance & Accounting and Supply chain BPO.

The role involves delivering analysis and advice to clients, participating in the sales cycle, presenting to audiences, and solving strategic outsourcing challenges. Strong analytical skills are crucial for pricing complex deals with multiple components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage business initiatives from development to client delivery.
  • Create insights to solve client problems by evaluating information from engagements and research.
  • Communicate with senior stakeholders in outsourcing service providers.
  • Develop a reputation for quality work by conducting webinars and publishing whitepapers and blogs.
  • Collaborate internally to deliver client projects.
  • Work with the sales team on strategic sourcing and operations.
  • Support team activities and contribute to the professional development of team members.

Education and Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in solution design or pricing within IT/BPO providers.
  • Domain knowledge across BPO areas such as finance & accounting, procurement, contact centre services, and more.
  • Exposure to pricing and solutioning for BPO deals is desirable.
  • Client presence, presentation skills, and strong relationships are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative work style required.
  • MBA from a reputed B-school is preferred.
