Qualifications

Skills and Experience:5-8 yrs exp.

with Juniper Enterprise Routers and Switches5-8 yrs with routing protocols - BGP, OSPF, VRRP and traffic engineering5+ yrs with network-based ACL's, policy-based routing, and firewall management5-8 yrs exp.

with NAT, VLANs, VLAN tagging, MAC address tables, and switchingAbility to generate and maintain technical documentation and network diagramsExperience with VXLAN, Virtual-Chassis and MC-LAG on Juniper gear using best practices and implementing the appropriate spanning tree protocols on TORs in such environments.

Experience working with carrier circuits (installation, activation & troubleshooting)Experience working on Palo Alto Firewall and Fortinet firewalls. Experience with IPSec VPN, MFA for VPN access.
Experience working in a DevOps environment and using network automation tools such as Ansible, Git and Python.
Experience troubleshooting complex network issues.
Experience contributing to monitoring and alerting systems.

Additional Skills of use:
JNCIE/CCIE or equivalent experience with Juniper, Cisco and Arista platformsCISSP/ Knowledge of network security including IDS, DDoS, and other distributed attackIPv6 experience and knowledgeOperational experience with flow based technologiesUNIX/Linux OS Networking knowledge
