As a leading outsourcing partners, we are hiring a  Senior Network Engineer  to be deployed at our client site, which is a technology consulting and services company with over 11,800 employees in 33 locations worldwide. More than 130 leading enterprises depend on their expertise to become more innovative, agile, and competitive. They specialize in creating, designing, engineering, marketing, and managing digital products and experiences for fast-growing companies aiming to innovate quickly and effectively.
Note: This is a C2H position
Job Details
Experience Required:  10-12 years of relevant experience in Network Engineering.
Qualifications : BE/B.Tech/Graduation in computer science or related field.
Location:  Kolkata, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai.
Salary Bracket :  Competitive salary in line with market standards.
Notice Period:  Immediate to 15 days (Candidates with a notice period of less than 30 days are preferred).
Shift :  Rotational Shifts
Mandatory Skills:   Cisco SDA, SDN (Cisco ACI), Cisco ISE, Nexus Technology, Citrix Global Load Balancer.
Required Skills:
Should have minimum 12 years of experience with 8+ years supporting a large enterprise environment required (multi-building campus, MAN/WAN, >5000 users)
Proficient in Nexus technologies like ACI, VDC, VPC, FEX, Fabric ,Path, OTV and, Cisco ISE
Proficient knowledge and understanding of Network and Security Products.
Proficient in Routing protocols like BGP and OSPF
Should have CCNP certification or equivalent level of skills.
Possess strong investigative and analytical qualities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Should have experience in designing enterprise network.
Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into Network infrastructure solutions
Analyse complex cross functional and cross platform issues.
Develop and document procedures and best practices for network operations infrastructure
Day to day operational support of the network, including responding to user and system-initiated tickets and resolving network incidents
Act as the first point of escalation for challenging issues not resolved by junior network operations engineers.
Establish and execute the life cycle process for network equipment, including OS patching and upgrades
Maintain network management systems and tools (Solarwinds, OPsmanager, etc.)
Define best practices for network management systems, including recommendations for key performance indicators and alert thresholds.
Review and respond to monitoring alerts, logs, and alarms
Analyse and maintain performance data, make recommendations and changes to ensure optimal network utilization
Design, Installation and configuration of enterprise network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless access points
Design, Installation and configuration of enterprise security devices, including firewalls and remote access concentrators
Work directly with customers to resolve incidents
Participate in team after hours and on-call rotation as required
Perform other duties as assigned.
