What you'll be doing in this role:

  • Maintain current automation test frameworks
  • Collect and present quality metrics obtained from test execution
  • Collaborate with developers to devise specific testing strategies for ongoing features and automate them
  • Develop comprehensive test plans; implement and automate them
  • Provide support to engineering teams in addressing and resolving issues with applications and development/testing environments

Requirements for success in this position:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in quality assurance or application development, with leadership in quality initiatives within a scrum team consisting of 4-6 QE engineers
  • Proficiency in Java programming utilizing Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Eclipse, Jenkin, Maven, and Git
  • Knowledge of various testing methodologies (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their advantages and disadvantages, and the ability to apply them effectively
  • Advanced proficiency and utilization of tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, profilers, ServiceNow instances, system administration/Unix tools) for daily tasks
  • Experience in leading technical discussions across different teams while understanding SDLC principles
