Software Engineering Advisor
Position Overview:
Join the team that manages the end to end technology and life cycle management of the applications hosted both on premise and in the AWS/Azure/GCP cloud.
We are looking for an experienced Software advisor with 8 to 10 years of experience to join the Data and Analytics Engineering (D&AE) operational effectiveness team.
This role involves working on inhouse Data to understand their data management needs, recommending appropriate Informatica tools and technologies, and helping to design and deploy effective data integration, data quality, and data governance solutions
Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge ofInformatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud
- Customize Informatica solutions to meet specific client needs, including creating and optimizing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Deep expertise in Informatica tools, including Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud, and Informatica Data Quality.
- Work with business partners to resolve defects identified in a timely manner.
- Strong knowledge of data integration techniques, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts..
- Experienced with agile methodology.
Required Experience & Education:
- Bachelors degree in the related field.
- 8+ years of experience in developer role.
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Python
- Understanding of cloud data integration platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- 4+ years of experience with Informatica power center
- 6+ years of relational database management systems like Oracle, SQL server and Teradata
- 3+ years of experience in AWS/Azure/GCP
