Job Description

1. Solution Architecture and Migration :

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust cloud-based solutions.

· Design end-to-end architecture for cloud solutions, considering factors such as scalability, high availability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.

· Evaluate different cloud services and technologies to make informed recommendations for technology stack and platform choices.

· Evaluate existing systems and applications to recommend suitable cloud migration or modernisation strategies.

· Implement security best practices for cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.

2. Cloud Infrastructure Management :

· Implement Cloud infrastructure using best practices. Configure and manage Cloud services as per the requirement and provide day-to-day Operational support.

· Support cloud services including security configurations, patching, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning.

· Ensure proper disaster recovery, backup, and data retention strategies are in place. Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation.

· Proactive monitoring & Alerting of Cloud Infra using Prometheus, Uchiwa, CloudWatch logs, CloudTrail, Config, VPC Flow logs, Tagging services, etc.

· Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues. Raise support tickets with CSPs as and when required and provide RCA for major issues.

3. Performance Optimization :

· Monitor cloud resources, analyze performance metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization.

· Fine-tune cloud configurations to enhance application performance, minimize latency, and optimize resource utilization.

4. Application Life Cycle Management and Automation:

· Define and establish application deployment processes, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and automation frameworks. Implement automated deployment pipelines for applications, ensuring consistent and reliable application releases.

· Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless application deployment, monitoring, and scaling in cloud environments.

· Troubleshoot application-related issues and optimize performance for efficient resource utilization.

· Develop scripts and workflows to automate application configuration, scaling, and updates.

· Work closely with development teams to integrate automation into the application development life cycle. Tasks related to Dev Ops release and build management, automation scripts experience with tools like Git, bash scripting, PowerShell, AWS Cloud Formation, Ansible, Salt, Chef or Puppet.

· Work on automation using lambda, Python, and Cloud Formation template. Develop scripts for automating client/server functions.

· Design and implement API gateway solutions to manage, secure, and monitor APIs across different applications and services. Define API governance policies, including authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and caching, to ensure optimal API performance and security.

Infrastructure Automation- Design and implement infrastructure-as-code (IAC) solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources. Develop and maintain automation scripts for tasks such as server provisioning, network configuration, and database setup.
