As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and adaptable individual to lead our Human Resources department as the Head of Human Resources.


Position Overview:

The Head of Human Resources will serve as a strategic partner to senior management and play a crucial role in sourcing skilled laborers for foundry operations, addressing labor-related issues, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

This position requires a dynamic leader with strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of HR best practices in the Foundry Industry, and a passion for fostering a positive work culture.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of HR management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, liaisoning with local authorities, and HR strategy.


Work Location:
Coimbatore (Relocation is required in case of outstation candidates)

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain skilled laborers for foundry operations. Utilize innovative approaches to overcome the challenges of sourcing skilled workers in the foundry industry.

Employee Welfare Initiatives:
Understand and communicate the problems faced by laborers in the foundry to senior management. Take proactive steps to improve working conditions, safety measures, and employee well-being.

Manpower Shortage Management:
Swiftly address manpower shortage issues by developing contingency plans and implementing alternative staffing solutions as needed

Contract Negotiation :
Negotiate with contractors to supply manpower for various roles within the foundry. Ensure that contracts are fair, transparent, and aligned with the company's objectives and values.

Team Leadership:
Delegate tasks effectively and supervise the HR team to ensure that all responsibilities are carried out efficiently and accurately. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to HR staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Liaisoning and Coordination:
Serve as the primary liaison between the company and local authorities, including panchayats and Village Administrative Officers (VAO). Coordinate with government agencies to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Statutory Compliances, Taxation, and Policies:
Oversee and fulfill the statutory compliances, taxation, and policy matters related to the company operations. Ensure compliance with labour laws, taxation regulations, and other legal requirements.

Employee Skill Development:
Map the employee skill and identify the gaps in their skill; Arrange, and collaborate with Trainers/ Training centers for the employee skill development through enhanced training programs to equip the employee

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on talent acquisition and employee relations in the manufacturing or foundry industry.

Strong exposure and experience in talent acquisition of contract laboursStrong understanding of labor laws and regulations, taxation, and policy-related matters.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
Proven ability to address manpower shortage issues and implement effective recruitment strategies.
Experience in liaising with local authorities and coordinating with government agencies.
Proficiency in MS Excel for MIS, data analysis, and reporting.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Conversational level in Hindi Language
