Role and Responsibilities:
- Understand the credit policies for various Banks and NBFCs in the Indian lending space
- Provide thought-leadership on risk management, portfolio quality, statistical delinquency models, income estimation, fraud prevention and customer acquisition strategies
- Monitor and improve existing portfolio quality by designing tests and experiments capturing customer credit behavior insights
- Coordinate with technology and business team to build out new risk management capabilities and refine existing ones
- Ideate and help launch next-generation lending products and structures that will drive the next level of innovation
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 1+ Year of experience in credit scoring, risk modeling and policies
- Experience in credit risk for short-term unsecured loan products as personal loans and credit cards in the Indian market
- Experience in developing lending, customer acquisitions and portfolio management strategies
- Proficiency in relevant analytic programming skills (R, Python, Excel)
- Comfort in re-defining frontiers and passion for doing cutting-edge work in unsecured credit risk.
