Founded by His Majesty King Charles III and British Asian entrepreneurs, BAT focuses on tackling poverty and inequality in South Asia. The organization has positively impacted over 11.8 million people across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka through interventions in livelihoods, mental health, education, child protection, and conservation.

JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
In the field of conservation, BAT supports biodiversity recovery, habitat regeneration, and encourages harmonious coexistence between people and wildlife. They are seeking a dynamic Manager - Development (MD) to cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and corporate partners to garner financial support for BAT's conservation efforts in India.
Reporting to the Head of Development (HOD), the MD will be accountable for accelerating income growth from HNIs and corporate supporters, managing donor relationships, and assisting the HOD in data management and reporting.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Actively identify HNIs and corporate prospects to expand BAT's network
- Research potential donors to develop tailored cultivation strategies
- Establish effective cultivation and stewardship opportunities
- Develop compelling pitches for projects and events, aligning with BAT's conservation programs
- Collaborate with internal teams to align donor interests with organizational needs
- Ensure adherence to fundraising processes and regulations
- Maintain donor communication records and ensure timely acknowledgments
- Provide budget and pipeline activity reports as needed
- Support in fundraising strategy development
- Undertake additional duties as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
Applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognized institution.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum five to seven years of relevant experience required
- Proven track record in soliciting significant gifts from HNIs and corporates
- Experience in managing donor relationships and achieving fundraising targets
Desirable Experience:
- Previous exposure to international development or charity sector is beneficial
- Familiarity with working on large budgets
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
- In-depth understanding of donor expectations and fundraising processes
- Highly motivated and results-oriented

COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Competitive salary as per industry standards.

LOCATION:
Mumbai, Bangalore, Gurugram, Delhi

CONTRACT DURATION:
Full-time position with a fixed-term consultancy contract for two years.

WORKING DAYS & MODALITY:
BAT follows a five-day working week with flexibility based on location:
- Gurugram or Delhi: 2 days of flexible working from offsite
- Mumbai or Bangalore: Remote work until the establishment of a local office
The role may require occasional travel.
