Position: Tele-caller cum Counsellor
Location: Lucknow
Department: Admissions
Reports to: Admissions Manager
Job Summary: The Tele-caller cum Counsellor will be responsible for engaging with potential students, converting leads into successful admissions for our Hotel Management and Paramedical courses. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a persuasive demeanour, and the ability to provide insightful guidance to prospective students about the benefits and opportunities provided by our programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and Follow-Up:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective students.
- Follow up on leads generated through various marketing campaigns, events, and referrals.
- Maintain a database of potential leads and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Provide detailed information about the Hotel Management and Paramedical courses, including curriculum, career prospects, admission procedures, and financial aid options.
- Counsel prospective students and their parents, addressing their queries and concerns.
- Guide students through the application process, assisting them with filling out forms and gathering necessary documentation.
- Convert leads into admissions by effectively communicating the value of the programs and addressing any hesitations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students and their families.
- Act as a point of contact for prospective students, ensuring a smooth transition from inquiry to admission.
- Regularly update and maintain communication records in the CRM system.
- Prepare and present regular reports on lead status, follow-up activities, and conversion rates to the Admissions Manager.
- Provide feedback and insights on the effectiveness of lead generation strategies and suggest improvements.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align lead generation and follow-up strategies.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative staff to ensure accurate and updated information is provided to prospective students.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Tele-calling, counselling, or sales, preferably in the education sector.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling abilities.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
