Job Summary:


The IT Support / Helpdesk (Entry-Level) is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to the staff of the non-governmental organization (NGO).

This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to 1 year of relevant experience.

The IT Support Executive will work closely with the IT team and management to ensure the smooth operation of the organization's technology systems and provide efficient troubleshooting and support to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide firstline technical support to staff, including troubleshooting and resolving basic hardware and softwarerelated issues.
  • Understand the basics about Microsoft Admin & Application (like Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Assist in the maintenance and management of the organization's IT infrastructure, such as Laptops, Desktops, AIO, printers, AP's, Routers, Hubs, Switches, and other peripherals.
  • Help in implementing and maintaining appropriate data backup and security measures to protect the organization's digital assets.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers to address complex technical problems, as directed by the senior IT team members.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of all ITrelated activities, issues, and resolutions.
  • Stay informed about the latest technology trends and best practices and suggest improvements or upgrades to the organization's IT systems, as appropriate.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the organization's IT policies and procedures, under the guidance of the senior IT members.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 01 year of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, either through, or entrylevel positions.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problemsolving skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Familiarity with common productivity and collaboration software, such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management tools.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical staff.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the operations and challenges of nonprofit organizations is preferred.
Certification in relevant IT support or technical areas (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Office Specialist) is an advantage.
