Overall Purpose of The Job

The role of the Reporting Analyst is to understand, monitor and report on vessel performance – analyse performance trends of assets, seek ways to introduce enhanced data analytics to the Digital Reporting Tool and translate them into a valuable user experience, maximising vessel operational performance and allowing our Clients to realise the full value of their asset.

  • Monitor & Report on SLA's, KPI's and Vessel Performance for Clients in general and/or targeted vessels in particular, analysing trends in order to identify additional future optimisation opportunities.
  • Provide assistance in the development of Reporting Guidelines within the Cruise & Offshore department.
  • Work with the System Management Team, mine and analyse data from within our various databases to support the development and optimisation of analytics capabilities within the department.
  • Work with both internal and external key stakeholders to identify potential opportunities for the leveraging of our Hospitality Service Solutions benefits across our pool of prospective clients 5. Assist in the development of management tools to support the Oceanic digital activities.
  • Identifying and documenting of workflows for new clients and performance optimisation opportunities.
  • Identify and present opportunities available for cost reductions and their associated return on investment.
  • Support and lead the various work streams as required.
  • Performing extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports, from previous inventory reports to US and international purchasing trends.
  • Report statistics to management and suggesting improvements to control tools and SOPs.
  • Update standard operating procedures in cooperation with the shoreside Cruise & Offshore department and shipboard department heads by identifying key requirements and translating them into OCL's Quality standards and Hotel operating policies and procedures
  • Ensure that SMART objectives set for you are prioritised and met.
  • Work closely with the project management, operations and supply chain teams to assist in the development of written service concepts, pre-operating and operating procedures, definition of reporting routines and formats.
  • Liaise between shipboard and shoreside departments, both internal and at clients' side
  • Develop productive relationships with all parties involved and provides constant and consistent communication and reporting to line managers.
  • Other responsibilities, not limited to the above, as assigned, or as need arises.

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Excellent communications and organisational skills.
  • Extensive experience with databases and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent attention to detail, maths, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Enjoys a variety of tasks and must have the ability to identify by priority.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills, time management, well organised, and systematic working style
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and oral.

  • Onboard ship experience preferred in Hotel Management roles.
