Data Engineer

Skill Set:
Azure or Snowflake

Responsibilities:
Proficiency in crafting and optimizing complex SQL queries for data transformation, aggregation, and analysis.
Good programming skills in Python for data processing and manipulation, including libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.

Experience with a range of Azure data services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage and file formats like JSON & Parquet.

Ability to design and implement data models, applying both relational and dimensional modeling techniques, within an Azure environment.
In-depth understanding of ETL processes and methodologies, ensuring seamless data movement and transformation using Azure Data Factory.
Adeptness in using Azure Functions for serverless data processing, automation, and orchestrating workflows.
Experience with Snowflake cloud data warehousing service, including data loading, querying, and administration.
Ability to design and implement data models, applying both relational and dimensional modeling techniques, within Snowflake.
In-depth understanding of ETL processes and methodologies, leveraging Snowflake's capabilities.

Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 3.5 years of relevant experience in visual reporting development, including hands-on development of analytics dashboards and working with complex data sets
SQL Server expertise
Excellent Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel skill
Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and organizational skills
Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
