Responsibilities:
Performingrequired activities associated with projects (investigation, analysis anddesign) in line with client and DB specifications/standards and Eurocodes.

Preparingand registering all relevant documents and design reports and ensuring that thedocumentation is current, accurate and in compliance with DB E & C(Deutsche Bahn Engineering & Consulting) Quality requirements.

Contributingto the resolution of technical challenges on projects and providing technicalguidance to other team members.
Therole requires the candidate to work under stressful and challenging tasks.
Keepingup to date with innovations and developments.
Beingfamiliar and compliant with relevant Health & Safety regulations and topromote a culture of awareness within the team.
Preparationof Bill of quantitiesShouldcomplete the assigned Task within the allocated Time, Budget and Quality.
Independentlywork on the given tasks with minimal or no support from others.

Abilityto work in a Team and integrate his/her ideas with that of the TeamPerformingother duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manageror DB E & C.


Qualification and Experience:


Bachelor'sdegree in Civil Engineering and Master's degree in Structural Engineering witha minimum of 1-3 years' experience in the domain of Bridges.

Knowledgeof design of Railway and Road Bridges, Retaining walls for Permanent andTemporary design situations and other important structures for railinfrastructure.

Knowledgeof Railway operation and its effect on the construction during stoppage time.
Alldeliverables will be in German. Hence the knowledge of German language would bean added advantage.
Good understandingof geotechnical engineering, ability to read the Geotechnical reports and applythis knowledge in the Design.

Knowledgeof REVIT and AUTOCADWorkingknowledge of structural analysis and design software packages would be an addedadvantageExcellentwritten and verbal communication skills in English.

Willingnessto shift to Germany on a short-term basis as and when the need arises.
