Docyt is a cutting-edge super-app that leverages AI (artificial intelligence) throughout the entire accounting technology stack. Our platform digitizes financial data, streamlines income and expenditure processes, conducts ongoing reconciliations, and produces real-time financial reports and visuals. This not only explains our offerings but also highlights their significance: having a comprehensive, precise, real-time financial overview enables businesses to make intelligent decisions. Role and Responsibilities

Docyt is on the lookout for a proactive and driven Senior Member of Technical Staff proficient in both backend and frontend development, instrumental in elevating our platform to new heights. The ideal candidate should have a solid track record of delivering sophisticated full-stack software systems, collaborating within an Agile team, conducting code reviews, and engaging with product owners.

This role necessitates availability during the US Central time zone. Prospective candidates must be open to working during US Central Time morning hours, specifically between 8 AM and 12 noon.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology/Engineering focusing on Computer Science or a related field
  • Over 6 years of experience in software engineering
  • Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails
  • Familiarity with ReactJS, Typescript, HTML/CSS/JS
  • Solid grasp of API design, HTTP, endpoints, REST, and JSON
  • Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Hands-on experience with microservices and Kubernetes-based applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
