**Position Title:** Senior Sales Engineer

**Location:** Navi Mumbai

**Department:** Sales & Marketing

**Reports To:** Manager - Sales & Marketing

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our team and drive revenue growth by effectively converting leads and supporting our sales initiatives.

**Role Definition:**

The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for leading the sales efforts to convert leads into revenue-generating clients. This role includes managing and mentoring a Sales Engineer, developing sales strategies, and working closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to achieve sales targets. The Senior Sales Engineer will play a critical role in driving business growth and building strong relationships with customers.

### Key Responsibilities:

**Lead Conversion:**

Analyze and qualify leads generated through various channels (inbound and outbound).

Develop and execute strategies to convert leads into revenue-generating clients.

Conduct detailed needs assessments and propose tailored solutions to potential clients.

**Sales Management:**

Manage and mentor the Sales Engineer to ensure effective lead follow-up and conversion.

Set performance goals and monitor progress to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.

Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager to develop and implement sales plans and strategies.

**Customer Relationship Management:**

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure ongoing engagement and address any concerns or issues.

Provide technical support and product information to customers as needed.

**Market Analysis and Strategy:**

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.

Provide input to the Sales & Marketing Manager on product development and marketing strategies based on market feedback.

Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote the company's products and services.

**Sales Reporting:**

Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for the Sales & Marketing Manager.

Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and lead status in the CRM system.

**Collaboration:**

Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts.

Coordinate with the production, design, and quality teams to ensure that customer requirements are met.

Provide feedback to internal teams on customer preferences and product performance.

### Skills Required:

Strong technical knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes, particularly in Industrial products.

Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales management tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

### Educational and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.

At least 2-3 years of experience in a sales engineering role, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior or supervisory position.

Proven experience in the sheet metal manufacturing industry is highly desirable.

### Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to convert leads into revenue-generating clients.

Experience in managing and mentoring sales teams.

Knowledge of market analysis and sales
