Position:
Senior Purchase Executive

Location:
Pune

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase electrical components, equipment, and materials required for production and projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to secure favorable pricing and contract agreements.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new product developments.
  • Analyse purchasing trends and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels using procurement software or databases.
  • Resolve any supplyrelated issues or discrepancies that may arise during the procurement process.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the electrical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components, materials, and suppliers.
  • Proven negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and terms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with procurement software or databases.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and data analysis.

Pay:
₹9, ₹37,723.73 per month
